Raphoe ABC’s European bronze medallist Leah Gallen will fight in France in the coming weeks.
Gallen, a bronze medallist at last year’s European Junior Championships, will travel to the French city of Bourges as part of a St Brigid’s ABC team from Edenderry.
Gallen will be part of the team that goes to France for a seven-day training camp, during which the Irish boxers will spar with local punchers. At the end of the camp, the visiting boxers will take part in a tournament.
Gallen overcame Finja Bree to get onto the podium last year in Russia having also won Irish Senior Cadet and Girl 5 titles in 2018.
