Donegal staged a fine comeback to overturn an eight-point deficit and see off Meath in an exciting Division 2 final at Croke Park.
Michael Murphy hit seven points and Jamie Brennan bagged a goal as Donegal claimed a 1-17 to 1-15 win.
It was Brennan’s third goal in as many games and the win ends a largely encouraging League campaign for the Tir Chonaill men.
Things didn’t look good for Donegal as Meath cut through them in the early exchanges, but they improved well after the initial scare.
