Just 63 seconds into the second of eight scheduled rounds, the contest was stopped and Quigley declared the winner.
Quigley linked up with Ingle late in 2017 and relocated from Los Angeles to the steel city.
Ingle has trained the likes of Kell Brook and Billy Joe Saunders, but they have since changed trainers, leaving Quigley as one of the stellar lights in a gym previously the home of the likes of ‘Prince’ Naseem, Johnny Nelson and Junior Witter.
“He’s right up there,” Ingle said of Quigley.
“He’s very good, very technical.
“He has had 12 months back since his injury and it’s time now to step it up and start getting into the big fights and get the harder opponents. Hopefully we can get moving now.”
Ingle believes Quigley has the tools to become a world champion – and he can see the bright lights on the horizon.
He said: “Jason will be ready. We’ll keep him active, get another two or three fights in before that. I can’t see why not.”
