Motorists in Donegal have been urged to drive with care following a barrage of wind, sleet and snow across the county on Sunday.
Gritters were issued on the road on Saturday evening but Donegal County Council has since warned the public that no such action would be taken today (Sunday).
A Status Yellow snow-ice weather warning will remain in place for all of Donegal until early on Monday morning.
Rural areas are suspected to be hit the worst in the county.
The alert reads: “West to north-west winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h and gusts of 90 to 110kmh, strongest in coastal areas.”
