Two-game ban for Armagh player after stamp against Donegal

Armagh player Stephen Sheridan has been slapped with a two-game ban following last Saturday’s Allianz League Division 2 game against Donegal.

Sheridan has been given a retrospective suspension for a stamp on Eoghan Ban Gallagher in the first half of the game in Ballybofey.

The Central Competitions Controls Committee (CCCC) reviewed video footage of the incident.

The stamp was missed by the match referee at the time, but video evidence left officials with little option but to issue a sanction.
