Met Eireann has issued a weather alert for Donegal.
The status yellow wind warning will be in place from today (Sat) at 9am until Sunday at 3am.
It reads: “South to southwest winds will reach mean speeds between 50 and 65 km/h at times, with gusts between 90 and 100km/h. Winds will be strongest along coasts.”
One year after Storm Emma hit Ireland, this weekend is set to be cold, windy and rainy.
Two other counties, Galway and Mayo have also been issued with the wind warning.
Tomorrow will be a windy day all across the country.
