Ollie Horgan admitted his ‘disappointment’ as Finn Harps fell to a derby defeat to Sligo Rovers last night.
Romeo Parkes and Kris Twardek netted as Sligo overcame Harps 2-1 at Finn Park.
Daniel O’Reilly pulled a goal back for Harps, but it wasn’t enough to inspire a comeback.
“I’m not sure we deserved it from our first half performance,” Horgan told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We probably deserved something from the second half. We didn’t come out of the blocks at all and we were quite lethargic for a game of huge importance.
“We’re disappointed in our own performance, the manner of the two goals and our first-half performance.”
