Well-known faces from Downings are set to have their big TV moment this week on a special GAA documentary series.
Ár gClub on TG4 heads to Donegal this Thursday (28th February) to follow the characters of CLG na nDúnaibh during Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta weekend in 2018.
Na Dunaibh Bainisteoirí Barney Curran and Siún Bean Uí Ghallachóir, along with Hughie Mac Laifeartaigh and a very proud Donegal mammy features in the show.

Cameras followed CLG na nDúnaibh club players, officials and supporters over the course of the weekend to capture the excitement and nervousness in anticipation for the competition.
With large numbers of visitors expected to arrive, the whole community takes huge pride in the improvement works which have been just completed on time.

On the field, both the men’s and ladies teams begin to feel the local pressure to win the Comórtas on their home pitch. The men’s team had not won the competition since 1982 and the newly formed ladies team faces an uphill battle if they are to upset the odds.
Emotions are high with so much at stake, which is sure to make for a nail-biting episode.
