Need information about a legal matter? The Letterkenny Youth Information Centre (YIC) is tackling legalese jargon with a free legal information hub for young people every week.
From employment contracts, to tenancy agreements, to a court appearance, the YIC has you covered. You can get help with a legal matter, understand legal terms and conditions and learn about your rights.
The Legal Information Hub takes place on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. You can call in for a confidential and non-judgemental chat about any legal matter. No appointment is necessary for this free service.
The Letterkenny Youth Information Centre managed by Donegal Youth Service offers a confidential information service for young people, and also support parents and guardians seeking information and support for their young people.
Young people can get help applying for grants, enjoy the drop-in space, improve their job seeking skills, join groups, find out more about European opportunities, course options, get help finding accommodation and more.
The YIC have also just extended their opening hours, offering their services until 8pm twice a week to make it more accessible.
