Donegal hurling manager Mickey McCann remains confident of holding onto Division 2B status.
Second-half goals by Eoin McCormick and Jonathan O’Neill turned the game in Wicklow’s favour after Donegal led 0-8 to 0-5 at half-time.
“It’s down to some of our own errors,” McCann told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We have a very young team. They’re competing very well but we gave away one or two soft goals and they proved the difference. The goals put the game in their favour. We battled well, but the second goal was a killer.
“Our defence was on top but they got punished for those mistakes. You can’t give away goals like that if you’re going to compete in that division.
