Rock band Velvet Orchid are set to perform in St. Eunans Clubhouse tomorrow night (Saturday, February 16) in aid of Pieta House at 8pm.
Frontman, Jason Floods is set to celebrate his 21st birthday by raising awareness for homelessness and mental illness.
Flood has asked that all presents and monies will be spread across Pieta House and Simon Community.
The promising group includes Matthew Melia on drums, Jamie Larkin on bass, and Cale O’Donnell on rhythm guitar.
Speaking before the charity concert, Flood said: “As a band, we feel that people living without a home is one of the major problems in Ireland right now and we need to do something.
“A close friend of ours passed away and that sprang us into action to help.”
The show is opened to everyone free of charge with a contribution bucket being presented on the night.
There show will also host a raffle and a few cool spot prizes.
