There was a great party atmosphere in the B&S Credit Union yesterday for the first members’ draw of 2019.
The highly-anticipated event had amazing prizes up for grabs, including cash prizes totalling €9500, spot prizes and a brand new 191 Ford Fiesta.
Ballybofey local Patrick O’Brien was the lucky winner of the top prize, winning himself a stylish new car from Shane Connolly Cars.

A large gathering of credit union staff, MC Paddy McMenamin and members were there to celebrate the big reveal as a delighted Patrick was handed the keys to his new motor.
Other top winners in the draw were Joe Blee from Ballybofey, who won a fantastic €2,000 cash prize.
Five lucky winners bagged €1,000 prizes, including Rose Callaghan from Stranorlar, Breege Kelly from Ballybofey, Bridgeen McGlynn from Cloghan, Rita Bryson from Castlefinn and Amy McElchar from Ballybofey.
Bernadette Kelly and Caroline Gillespie from Ballybofey both won €750, while Denise Tourish and Lynne Smyth from Castlefinn picked up a cool €500 each.
The hugely successful draw means many happy credit union members will be starting 2019 off with a financial boost.
And the good news is that there is a SECOND car draw taking place in just six months’ time!
