Several busy roads in Donegal are blocked in both directions by trees downed by Storm Erik.
According to the latest reports, downed trees have been brought down across the county in the following areas:
- Nixons Corner
- Lurgybrack hill, Letterkenny
- Drumkeen back road to Letterkenny
PSNI in Derry said ‘agencies have been tasked’ to the Nixons Corner area.
Heavy flooding has also been reported in parts of Killea, while roads are also badly immersed from Rossgier to Porthall, near Lifford.
The back road from St Johnston to Raphoe via the white cross is also reportedly flooded.
Over 30 residents in Buncrana are also without electricity this morning. ESB Networks said they are working to ‘repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible’.
