A major fire which broke out on Main Street Buncrana has been brought under control.
Fire services rushed to the scene after 9pm to battle the blaze which ripped through a local shop located near the Buncrana Plaza.
Four brigades from Donegal were mobilised supported by two units from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service. There were over 60 firefighters fighting the blaze at its peak.
No injuries have been reported.

Main Street Buncrana is set to remain closed for most of today as fire service workers work at the scene. Diversions are in place.
Donegal County Council stated: “Due to a major fire at Upper Main Street Buncrana the Main Street is closed from Westend to Market SQ, Ferris lane and all footpaths at upper main street are closed for public safety reasons – Main street / R238 diversions in place.”
AA Roadwatch added: “Main St (R238) in Buncrana is likely to remain closed for most of the day as emergency services deal with a fire. Diversions are in place.”
