Breaking: Firefighters battle blaze as two shops damaged

Firefighters are battling a blaze on Buncrana Main Street this evening.

The fire broke out at a local shop after 9pm and is still ablaze.

It is understood the fire has spread to the Plaza ballroom.

Two fire tenders are at the scene.

Flames could be seen shooting into the sky as onlookers gathered at the scene.

There are no reports of any injuries at this stage.
