Gardaí investigating the murder of Dungloe undertaker Shaun Duffy have said they believe a number of people have yet to come forward with information.
Mr Duffy (36) was killed at his home in Meenacross outside Dungloe on Saturday 29th January 2005.
The bachelor had been brutally attacked with a knife and a crossbow and left to die.
The murder of the former undertaker and part-time bouncer has been described as one of the most gruesome and shocking killings in Donegal’s history.
Investigating gardaí carried out a massive inquiry into who killed Mr Duffy, with more than 1,430 lines of inquiry pursued and 670 witnesses interviewed.
Gardaí have today launched a fresh appeal for information on the callous murder.
“Investigating Gardaí continue to appeal for information in this case and believe that a number of people have yet to come forward who may now be in a position to assist in bringing those responsible to justice.
“It is never too late to do the right thing and assist in bring Shaun’s killer or killers to justice,” a garda spokesperson said.
