UPDATE: The road is now clear.
Emergency services are at the scene of a two-car collision in the Twin Towns.
One person has been hospitalised but Donegal Daily understands their injuries are not serious.
The accident happened close to Kilross Junction and the road between the Junction and Stranorlar is now closed.
Motorists travelling between Twin Towns and Letterkenny have been advised to use an alternative route or expect long delays.
