Simon McGlynn netted one of the goals as Dergview saw off Derry outfit Maiden Coty 3-2 in the Irish Cup on Saturday.
The close encounter almost proved fatal for the Northern Irish outfit, who went behind midway through the second half.
McGlynn opened the scoring after 20 minutes, but Colm Cassidy’s Maiden City pulled two goals back to ensure an exhilarating finish to the cup tie.
With just over half an hour to go, Castlederg side responded immediately before scoring a late winner to secure their place in the sixth round.
The Championship strugglers will now face reigning Irish Cup champions Coleraine in the next round.
