Gardai are investigating a brutal attack on a young man in the Letterkenny area on Friday night last, December 21st.
The man was attacked close to St Eunan’s College.
He was rushed to Letterkenny General Hospital but has since been transferred to Galway University Hospital because of the seriousness of his injuries.
His condition is still very serious.
Gardai have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area to see if anybody may have witnessed the assault.
