St Eunan’s Letterkenny will play St Patrick’s Maghera in the MacRory Cup quarter-finals if they can negotiate a playoff tie against St Patrick’s Academy Dungannon on Sunday, January 27.
The Letterkenny outfit advanced to a play-off decider following a stalemate between St Patrick’s, Armagh and St Paul’s Bessbrook last month.
McFadden’s side struggled with absentees in November’s match against St Patrick’s Armagh, as they fell to 0-08 to 0-11 defeat in Garvaghey – leaving them needing result in their favor.
With Group D’s 2-13 apiece draw last month, St Eunan’s secured second spot and play-off place.
The prospect of playing St Patrick’s Maghera will come as no mean feat St Eunan’s, with the Derry outfit most recently winning the MacRory Cup in 2016.
