Warning issued as roadside flooding occurs across Donegal

There have been reports of flooding on roads across the county this evening as the severe weather begins to lift. 

There are reports of roads being partially flooded in St Johnston, Lifford, Newtoncunningham, and Nixons corner, with motorists advised to exercise caution if traveling through the area.

Gardai have urged motorists to slow down and not to drive at speed through flooded roads.

Further heavy rain is forecast in the coming days.
