The Cleary Centre has launched a colourful exhibition celebrating the talents of local amateur artists.
The Community Inclusion Hub, Cleary Centre is a Day Service for adults with an Intellectual Disability in South Donegal.
The centre’s first Art exhibition was opened on Tuesday in the Public Services Building, Donegal Town featuring the creations of those participating in the Art Programme.
There was a great turnout on the day, and the exhibit remains open until Friday 14th December.

“I feel very proud after all my hard work to have it shown off to everyone,” said Laura Grennan, participating Artist.
Cherie Doherty added: “I feel accomplished as I completed two of the projects. One of which is the Rory Gallagher statue which I spent many weeks creating. The other, I won a prize for in the Credit Union competition last month.”
The exhibition is the brainchild of Jenny Cooper, Art teacher who stated ” I want to thank all the Artists for their beautiful, individual exhibits.”

Mary Brown the Manager of the Cleary Centre stated: “I am very proud to be part of this wonderful exhibition and to be able to share the talent of all the Cleary Artists with their families and friends in this beautiful building.”
Mary also thanked Enda Monaghan in The Public Services Building for “hosting our very first exhibition and allowing us the opportunity to showcase the talent of those participating in the Art Programme”.
The exhibition will run from Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th December in the Public Services Building Donegal Town and is free to the public.
