An inspirational driving instructor from Buncrana has won an award from the Road Safety Authority for his role promoting road safety in his community.
Ronan Bradley (32), from Buncrana, Co. Donegal, was honoured at the Leading Lights in Road Safety Awards 2018 on Wednesday.
Ronan received the ‘Leading Light’ award in the ‘Approved Driving Instructor of the Year – Car’ category, at an event in Croke Park.
Ronan was delighted to receive his award at this prestigious event hosted by Simon Delaney.
After 10 years in International Transport, Ronan joined the family business, Street School of Motoring in 2014 when he qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor for Car and Truck. He works closely with his father and brother in the North West region, providing car, trailer, truck and driver theory tuition. He is also a CPC trainer for Truck and Bus drivers.
This experience along with his ADI accreditation are a good basis for the work that he does promoting road safety awareness with local schools and one-on-one driver theory tuition and practical driving lessons with student drivers.
Ronan was delighted to be nominated for this award by two times winner, Diane Harvey of D’s School of Motoring, and continually works hard to maintain the high standards required to be recognised as a ‘Leading Light’ for the RSA Approved Driving Instructor Award.
