The pupils, teachers and parents of Glenswilly National School have been campaigning for an extension for almost three decades.
And yesterday the pupils of the school took the fight face-to-face with Education Minister Joe McHugh.
Deputy McHugh was in Glenswilly for another official function.
But there was a lot more drama than anyone had bargained for.
In fact, Minister McHugh was left very impressed after pupils staged a short play pleading with him to grant them an extension.
So impressed was the Minister, in fact, that he promised pupils that diggers would be on site next summer to start work on their extension!
