There was yet another very busy week at Letterkenny Golf Club with a Quiz being held on Thursday night in aid of supporting funds for their course, as well as two competitions played out during the weekend.
The Saturday Open was played on (01/12/18)
John Paul Clarke (7.2) was the winner with 39 pts (BOT). John had a birdie on the 11th along with 12 pars. Kevin Rafferty (4.0) Runner up with 39 pts. (BOT) and Gary Loveridge (10.9) came third with 39 pts. Great golf being played with a break of tie seperating the winners. Shane Scanlon (5.5) was close behind with 38 pts.
On Sunday (02/12/18) the four ball scramble was played
The winners were Martin Gallagher, Peter Kavanagh, Joe Brown and Robert Brown with a score of 55.9. The Runners Up were Shane Scanlan, Barry Kavanagh, J.P. Clarke and Niall McClafferty with a score of 58.2 (BOT) and third were Keith Spence, Seamus Hopkins, Ben Hopkins and Gary Loveridge.
There was a very large attendance throughout the week with members attending the Quiz and taking part in the competitions. Also members are reminded that the Parents Club AGM is being held on Monday 10th December ’18 @ 8p.m.
