“The song is a really lively feel-good song with a simple message that there is definitely no place like home at Christmas,” David tells Donegal Daily.
The Killea singer and Highland Radio Jivetime host said it was ‘surreal’ to reach the top spot on iTunes in the UK and Ireland.
The song was an original track written for David by James Mc Garrity and produced at Valley Music Studio by Terry McGinty.
In true Christmas spirit, David is full of gratitude for all the support his fans have shown to make his new single and career a success.
“The support I have got from the public since I started my music career has been immense and every day I am so grateful that I get to do what I love every day,” David said.
