Aer Lingus has cancelled the 1.15pm afternoon flight from Dublin to Donegal Airport due to strong winds associated with Storm Diana.
Flight EI 3402 was due to depart Dublin at 1.15pm and land at Carrickfinn Donegal at 2.40pm today (Wednesday).
The flight is one of 12 cancelled nationwide departing Cork and Dublin airports.
Severe gusts have been recorded with Storm Diana today. A Status Orange wind alert was issued by Met Eireann for Cork, Kerry, Wexford, Galway, Clare and Waterford. All other counties are under a Status Yellow warning as winds of 55 to 65 km/h are forecast to gust 90 to 110 km/h.
The next Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Donegal at 7pm (Flight No EI 3408) is expected to run as scheduled. Passengers are advised to check their flight status on www.aerlingus.com/html/trip-mgmt.html
