Longford’s Daniel O’Reilly and Sam Verdon are set to sign for newly promoted Finn Harps imminently.
According to Betweenthestripes.ie, Longford Town are set to lose two of manager Neale Fenn’s most valuable assets in the coming days.
O’Reilly, 23, has been included in the PFAI First Division team of the season for the past two campaigns running and has previously played with Fulham and Bray Wanderers.
The former St Patrick’s Athletic youngster, Sam Verdon has also been a revelation since dropping down to the First Division half through 2017 season.
The Dubliner scored an impressive nine league goals in 2018 and could prove a strong option for Ollie Horgan next season.
The news will come as a huge boost to Horgan and Co, who also re-signed Nathan Boyle on a one-year deal on Monday.
