Kane Barrett was in a much different mood yesterday after scoring 1-5 to fire Milford to the U21 B title.
Last weekend, Barrett hit 10 points, but beat himself up over a late effort he dropped short in the drawn game with St Naul’s.
“I’m happy we got over the line…I thought about it all week,” Barrett said.
“I’m delighted we got the win.
“It means a lot to the boys.”
Milford had to dig deep after going five points down in the first half.
Barrett said: “A lot of boys were down on themselves at half-time. We got the ideal start to the second half and no better man than Connor to step up.”
