A Donegal couple are hoping for some early Christmas cheer to help them with their amazing lights spectacular.
Each year Mary and Michael Whoriskey turn their Kerrykeel home into a festive wonderland for charity.
Dozens of charities have benefited from the kind couple’s generosity over the years.
To date Mary and Michael have raised more than €60,000 thanks to donations by people coming to see their light display.
Last year a grand total of €6,100 was collected for the chosen charities of 2017. The family presented Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin with €3,500 and the Alzheimer’s Social Day Centre with €2,600.
This year the couple’s big switch-on is due to take place on November 23rd.
But they are hoping to hear from anybody who will be able to provide them with a marquee measuring approximately 20 metres by 4 metres.
If you can help Mary or Michael out then please send a message to info@donegaldaily.com and we will pass on your details.
The switch-on is always a feel-good festive event for the community, who come out to see the lights and meet Santa as he does the honours.
