Ronan Curtis made his Republic of Ireland senior debut in tonight’s 0-0 draw with Northern Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.
The St Johnston man replaced Callum O’Dowda at half-time.
The 22-year-old has been rewarded for his superb form for Portsmouth in League One, scoring six goals and adding seven assists for Pompey.
Curtis was called up to the senior panel twice previously by Martin O’Neill, but was handed his senior bow in tonight’s friendly.
