The new season is well and truly underway as the Finn Valley AC U11-19 took part in the Ulster Cross Country on Sunday.
The highlight of the day came per under-19 girls placing three runners in the top five through Cassie Lagan, Karen Gallagher and Aoife Mc Grath.
If the girls continue to improve this month, there is a strong possibility this squad can earn national medals.
This weekend begins Friday with an exodus to Swansea for the Masters International Saturday.
Sunday is the Remembrance 10k At Finn Valley where a large crowd is expected. Its an 11am start and pre-entries are opened. There is an option to walk the 5k, should anyone feel inclined.
