Letterkenny gave a warm welcome to winter fashion at a glamorous charity fashion show last Thursday.
The Welcome Winter fashion show in the Clanree Hotel Letterkenny was a sparkling occasion of music, style and bubbles all for a great cause.
The event was organised by the Letterkenny Shopping Centre as a way of giving back to the community and raising vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
All proceeds from ticket sales and a popular raffle went towards the charity that offers support and advice locally, night nursing services and carries out major research projects.
Local Irish Cancer Society fundraisers attended and got into the spirit of the event, with Relay for Life Donegal chairperson Robert O’Connor making his catwalk debut!
The show was hosted by TV3’s Ireland AM presenter Ciara Doherty and MC’d by Noel Cunningham, who both kept guests well-entertained and informed throughout the evening.
It was a special moment for the Donegal presenters who, despite both working for TV3, had never hosted an event together before.
Winter, party and Christmas fashion looks were showcased on the catwalk. Men’s and women’s styles came from local stores in Letterkenny Shopping Centre, including Penneys, Gerard, Tesco, DV8, Pamela Scott, McCullagh’s Jewellers and many more.
With models’ hair styled by Pello Hairdressing and shoes supplied by Greene’s Shoes, the looks were all wonderfully-styled and provided top fashion inspiration for the party season.
With every piece on the catwalk coming from Letterkenny Shopping Centre, the Welcome Winter show highlighted how the centre is a one-stop shop for getting on-trend looks and gifts this Christmas.
Photographer Clive Wasson was there to capture all the style of the night – from the models and guests alike! Check out the full gallery below:
