A ‘gutted’ Amber Barrett felt she should have had at least one penalty in yesterday’s WFAI Cup final at Aviva Stadium.
The Peamount striker had three penalty claims during a game that saw her side beaten by Wexford Youths.
Katrina Parrock’s fine volley in the first half was the only game of a cracking final.
But for Barrett and Peamount there was a bitter taste in the aftermath.
“We’re very disappointed,” the Milford woman said.
“The chances didn’t really come for us on the day., We had a couple of half chances that we could have done better with. Wexford had one big chance and took it.”
