Residents in Letterkenny have been advised to be on the lookout for a man knocking door-to-door.
A man, who is believed to live locally and known in the area, was reported to have been knocking on windows and doors of houses in the Killyclug/Killylastin areas of the town in recent days.
The man was described as ‘elderly’ and wearing a blue coat.
Gardaí were alerted and are investigating.
