Glenswilly’s Shaun Burke helped Tir Chonaill Gaels to the London SFC title on Sunday and completed the unique achievement of winning Championships in four different countries.
Tir Chonaill Gaels overcame Fulham Irish in Sunday’s London final replay at Ruislip.
Burke came into the action after 23 minutes to join Termon’s Brendan Friel and 2012 All-Ireland winner Adrian Hanlon from Dungloe.
For the well-travelled Burke, it was his fourth Championship success in another country.
Two years ago, he was a Donegal SFC winner with Glenswilly.
When the Glen made the Donegal breakthrough in 2011, Burke was in Australia, where he won a Western Australia SFC crown with St Finbarr’s in Perth.
Back in 2003, he helped guided Parnells of Chicago to a USA Intermediate crown. Tir Chonaill Gaels face Clanna Gael on Sunday in the Connacht club championship at Dr Hyde Park.
