Five-year-old St Johnston girl Jessica McKean is looking forward to her big moment on national TV this week as she stars in ‘Two Talented’ with her mum.
Jessica and her mum Sarah teamed up as a double act for the RTEjr family entertainment show, which will air on Wednesday 31st October at 6pm.
The series is hosted by rugby legend Donncha O’Callaghan. Each episode features three children as they mentor a family member to duet with them on stage.
Sarah and Jessica made the journey to Dublin last July to film their stage performance. They enjoyed a whirlwind of training, rehearsals and filming days prior to the show. Now they can’t wait to see their special TV moment together.
Jessica, who attends Raphoe NS, has been singing since she was a baby. She has won gold medals in local feiseanna and dreams of being a pop star.
