Gaoth Dobhair won their 15th Donegal SFC on Sunday thanks to a 0-17 to 1-7 final win over Naomh Conaill.

Odhrán Mac Niallais hit eight points as Gaoth Dobhair ended a 12-year wait for Dr Maguire to return west.

Mervyn O’Donnell’s side had been the favourites for the Championship from a long way out and they justified their tag by clearing the final hurdle.
