Frankie Boyle was in attendance in Ballybofey yesterday as Gaoth Dobhair bridged a 12-year gap to convincingly win the Donegal senior title with a seven-point win over Naomh Conaill.
The Scottish comedian has spoken before of his love for Donegal, visiting on several occasions before yesterday senior county final.
Boyle, well known for his often controversial sense of humour, looked absolutely delighted to get his photograph with Gaoth Dobhair’s very own Eamon McGee.

With Boyle watching on, the West Donegal men went on to win by seven, 0-17 to 1-7 the final score.
