After a confidence-boosting win in Killybegs last Sunday, Rathmullan Celtic travelled to Kildrum to face the defending champions hoping to achieve another three points.
After securing a 3-1 advantage early in the second half Rathmullan let slip a two-goal lead to lose the game in a fascinating collapse.

JD Alamiye gave Rathmullan the lead after 20 minutes in this tight affair and he added his second ten minutes before the interval when he headed home from close range.
Just before half-time, when the reigning champions Kildrum needed a goal, Darren Doran slotted one home for the Tigers after 41 minutes.
In the second half, Doran’s good work just before the interval was undone as Rathmullan restore their two-goal cushion.
Rathmullan’s Ryan Connolly scored just before the hour marked, making three points a likelihood for the Celtic.
Just when the game looked dead and buried for Kildrum, Kevin Mc Hugh produced the goal of the game, scoring a twenty-five-yard piledriver to reduce the deficit to one.
All of a sudden the momentum belonged to Kildrum and they took real charge against a Rathmullan defence that looked vulnerable, to say the least.
With only a quarter of the match remaining, Damian Crossan levelled the scoreline with just over 10 minutes left.
In emphatic fashion, Kildrum proved why they are regarded as the best team in the league, completing the comeback.
Damien Crossan added his second and put Kildrum ahead when he scored amidst a goalmouth scramble producing their third goal in a ruthless ten-minute spell.
