Brett McGinty has been selected to travel to Minsk with an Irish boxing team next month for a prestigious tournament.
The 16th international ‘Memorial V.Liventsev’ Tournament is being held in the Belarus capital from October 8-14 next.
McGinty has reached Irish Elite finals in each of the last two years.
The Oakleaf ABC puncher lost out to Dean Walsh in the 2017 welterweight final and was pipped by Michael Nevin in this year’s middleweight decider.
The St Johnston man represented Ireland at a tournament in America in March and will be back on the glory trail in Minsk.
