The launch of Culture Night 2018 took place in Letterkenny on Friday, September 21 as crowds gathered for an action-packed night of festivities.
The extraordinary night of cultural festivities has grown each year since its inception in 2006, with inspiring commitment from local authorities, cultural organisations and community collaborators throughout the country.
It was Letterkenny’s 10th occasion to take part in Culture Night, providing a terrific opportunity for families to sample aspects of Irish Culture and Heritage.
The programme for 2018 offers 39 diverse events in 26 venues that celebrate Donegal’s unique local cultural identity. In common with other participating towns and cities, Letterkenny was covered in dazzling lights on an evening of accessible, family-friendly events – all completely free of charge!
