Dyspraxia/DCD is a disorder affecting motor coordination in children and adults. The common disorder varies in every person and can affect everyday life skills in education, work and employment.
There is no known cure for Dyspraxia/DCD, but occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and extra help at school can all assist children with coping or overcoming many of the difficulties they face.
The next local support group will meet on Wednesday 26th of September in the Letterkenny Community Centre from 7pm-9pm.
Everyone is most welcome to attend – including parents, teachers, SNAs, educators.
Tea and coffee is provided, with a €5 donation appreciated.
