One lucky Donegal resident has struck gold this week with massive win of €50,000 in prize bonds.
The lucky number QJ474045 was selected in the draw on 7th September and the top prize of €50,000 has been traced back to the county.
Eight-two prizes were won by players from Donegal in last Friday’s draw, including the top winner and 81 players who won a handy €50 prize.
People who purchase Prize Bonds are entered into a weekly draw with prizes ranging in value.
Weekly prizes range from €50 to €50,000, with a €1million draw taking place twice a year.
