‘Quality of Life’ is a self-management programme for adults who are living with long-term health conditions.
The Lifford Clonleigh Resource Centre (LCRC) will collaborate with the HSE to deliver the Quality of Life Programme to Counties Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan.
LCRC is currently recruiting two half-time (18.5 hours per week) temporary (2 years initially) coordinators for this Programme: one to be based in County Donegal the other in County Sligo.
Base will be discussed at time of interview. Both post holders will also support the programme in Counties Cavan and Monaghan in collaboration with Arthritis Ireland.
Remuneration: €41,621 – €49,991 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience.
Essential Criteria:
• A relevant 3rd level qualification in health / social care / related field
• A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in programme or service coordination within a health/social care or community/voluntary /other sector setting
• This experience to include a minimum of 6 months staff management/supervision
• Experience of cross-sectoral working to achieve health outcomes, for example between community/voluntary sector, statutory bodies, HSE clinicians, private clinical practice, business sector etc
• A minimum of one year experience of working with cohorts of people living with physical or mental health conditions or challenges
• A working knowledge of IT Skills including Social Media usage and a range of work packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and others
• Hold current active Quality of Life (CDSMP) Tutor status Or be willing to undertake CDSMP training within 6 months of starting in post, to attain Tutor status
