Anne Flannery made it a three-in-a-row at Letterkenny Golf Club this week.

Anne has been a member of Barnhill Ladies Branch for some time now and while she has featured in competitions along the way it’s fair to say that she as made a break through in the last couple of weeks.

She won her Category on Lady Captains Day and then went on to win the V Par competition the following Tuesday losing two shots off her handicap.

The week after that she returned another winning score to bring the handicap down a further three shots.

She is now playing off 29 and really enjoying her golf.

Anne credits Seamus McMonagle Club Professional with some of her recent success and also acknowledges the good company of her fellow golfers and the excellent condition of the course at Barnhill this summer as being factors as well.

Whatever it is Anne has definitely proved that Anne Flann is no flash in the pan.
