Donegal tourist airlifted to hospital after falling from Teelin pier

Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked this afternoon to a male tourist who had fallen at Teelin Pier.

The male was assisted to by a local boat owner and a doctor who is on holidays in the area.

KCG arrived on scene and secured a landing site for Rescue 118.

 

The casualty was transported from the pier to R118 and airlifted to Sligo University Hospital.

KCG wish him a speedy recovery and thanks to the local boat owner and doctor for their assistants.
