Jonny Carlin says that experience was key this evening as Setanta overcame St Eunan’s to reach the Donegal SHC final.
“We knew it would be a dog fight,” Setanta midfielder Carlin said.
“We knew we’d get nothing easy. They brought it back to a point, but we stuck to the guns and got the result.
“We were chomping at the bit at half-time. It could have been a banana skin for us. They put up a good fight. We knew it’d be tough.They had heartbreak in the final last year so we knew it would be a tough game. A bit of experience got us over the line.”
