The women of Tory Island have proudly raised an impressive €2,100 from two fundraisers for the Arranmore RNLI.
The grand donation was presented to the Lifeboat Service this week to fund the vital service for all the islands and coastal communities.
The group organised a fundraising night at the Harbour View Hotel in Tory in May, followed by a coffee morning in Bia Cois Farraige Magheroarty.
It was a great day of food, music and craic, with special guests including Maria McCormack of the Happy Camper pancake van and Donegal Rose Niamh Duggan.
Great funds were raised from a raffle on the day, with prizes kindly sponsored by local businesses.
Lifeboat volunteers were warmly welcomed to the fundraiser event, while the total sum raised was greatly appreciated by the crew.
