Hugh McFadden believes Sean MacCumhaill Park will be ‘hostile’ on Sunday as Donegal and Tyrone battle for a place in an All-Ireland semi-final.
The stars have aligned for the two Ulster heavyweights to collide in the final ‘Super 8’ clash with the winners taking a place in the last four, with a draw enough for Tyrone to advance.
“It’s well documented that Donegal have had a hostile, eager and at times over-the-top rivalry with Tyrone,” McFadden said.
“At the end of the day, they were two of the best teams and that lends to a hostile environment.
“It’s a different rivalry now, but it’ll still be hostile.
“The mood in the camp is good. It has an edge in training. Tyrone will be up there in Garvaghey and it’ll be the same. It won’t be for the lack of effort with any of the teams.”
